United Kingdom. A South Africa Medal, 90th Regiment of Foot Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic along with four silver starsInstituted in 1880. In silver, the obverse bearing the head of Queen Victoria facing left inscribed VICTORIA REGINA around the perimeter, the reverse bearing a crouching lion on a plinth in front of a bush inscribed "SOUTH AFRICA'' around the top perimeter, (1000 PTE J. KERR 90TH FOOT) engraved, on the original ribbon with clasp 1877 8 9, modern easel attachment affixed to the reverse of the medal, marked with W&W, silver hallmarks, very fine.
