Japan, Empire. An Order of The Rising Sun, Third Class Commander’s Badge, c.1900 Hold Basic Flight Surgeon Badge(, Kyokujitsu sh) Institution Date: April 10, 1875 by Emperor Meiji. In silver with a red cabochon centerpiece and a white enamelled star, star is affixed to an enamelled Paulownia Flowers suspension consisting of three groupings of purple flowers with characters on the reverse, measures at 54. 7mm (w) x 86. 8 mm (h to the top of integral suspension ring), on period neck ribbon with clasp, near mint.
