Peru, Republic. An Order Of Captain Jose A. Quinones, Ii Class Grand Officer Star, C.1975 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac worn yet in fine condition(Orden del Capitn Jos A. Quiones). Instituted in 1975. Four piece construction, insignia in silver with red and cerulean blue enamels, mounted to an eight pointed silver star base, marked "925" (silver) on the reverse, measuring 65. 8 mm (w) x 69 mm (h), vertical pinback, scattered chipping evident in the red enamels on the oval centrepiece ring, otherwise the enamels are intact, near extremely fine.
