Instituted December 29th, 1841 by King Wilhelm II. (c. 1900). Consisting of a Cross Patte in silver with white enameled arms, both sides feature a central green enameled medallion inscribed with a crowned W in silver gilt, surrounded by a silver ring, suspended from a pierced ball and swivel ring for suspension from its period original neck ribbon, unmarked, measuring 50. 1 mm (w) x 56. 5 mm (l), weighing 39. 22 grams.
