In silver gilt, a commander badge featuring a white enamel Maltese cross with ball finials and crowns in each quadrant, the obverse medallion features a white enamel star on a blue enamel yield with the inscription NESCIT OCCASUM, the reverse medallion mirrors the obverse, the cross is surmounted by a large crown with enamel details, measures 54. 7 mm (w) x 80. 2 mm (h), weighs 33. 19 grams
