An Eastern Orthodox Chaplain's Pectoral Commemorative Cross For The War Of 1812 Archive 21 mm x 45In copper gilt on bronze, designed in the form of a Latin cross, obverse with the all seeing eye at the junction of the arms, the year "1812" placed upon the radiating rays below the eye, reverse inscribed in Russian "Not Unto Us, Not Unto Us, But In Thy Name", measuring 46. 3 mm (w) x 81 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, spotting, contact marks, better than very fine. Footnote: The Cross was instituted on August 30, 1814 during the reign of Tsar
