Brazil, Independent Empire. An Order Of The Rose In Gold, Officer's Star, C.1880 Auction Atlantic Fleet Bar & Named(Imperial Ordem da Rosa). Instituted on 17 October 1829. An attractive French manufactured award with fine attention to detail, in Gold with a six armed white enamelled cross with ball finals, affixed to a solid multi rayed Gold plate exhibiting hand engraved rays, with three pink enamelled roses on green laurels in each quadrant, obverse centre exhibiting the hand chiseled cypher of Pedro I, blue enamelled surround with the Motto AMOR E FIDELIDADE
