A Baden War Merit Cross Certificate To A Staff Surgeon, 1916 Hold Instituted in 1877In the certificate it is stated that the Grand Duke of Baden is awarding the Baden War Merit Cross to Stabsarzt (staff surgeon) Dr. Ewald Meisschedel of Reserve Military Hospital II in Constance. It is dated to Karlsruhe on December 24, 1916. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 330 mm (h), presenting two folding creases and minimal creasing of the edges, remains extremely fine.
