Russia, Imperial. A Medal for the Pacification of Hungary and Transylvania Newly Listed which intersected in HarbinInstituted January 22, 1850. In silver, a small medal presenting the Russian double headed eagle surrounded by the inscription (God is with us. People take heed and submit.), and the reverse with 1849 (For the pacification of Hungary and Transylvania 1849), measures 29. 18 mm (w) x 34. 75mm (h inclusive of integral ring), dark patina around edges, remains in very fine condition.
