Spain, Franco Era. A Royal & Military Order Of St. Hermenegild, Commander's Star, C.1950 Hold inscription of “GES(Real y Militar Orden de San Hermenegildo). Instituted 1814 by King Ferdinand VII. A four armed cross in bronze gilt with ball finials, embellished by ornamental Knights helmets and flags in each arm, with clusters of beaded rays in each quadrant, obverse centre in bronze gilt exhibiting a superposed figure of St. Hermenegildo on a blue enameled background, surrounded by a white enameled border inscribed PREMIO A LA CONSTANCIA MILITAR (Award to the
