with the lower arm of the cross having “Ojczyzna” embroidered
loss of purple enamels on 12 o'clock arm
maker marked "МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР" (Monetny Dvor) and number engraved "678879" on the reverse

A pair of medals, including a War Commemorative Medal of 1870 71, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29. 03 mm in diameter, weighing 13. 7 grams, in fair condition, and; a Kaiser Friedrich III commemorative medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 30. 63 mm in diameter, weighing 13. 9 grams, with some distortion evident, in fair condition.
