The reverse stamped Silver with the registration number R. D. 847363 GC. Instigated in 1942 and awarded to civilians, who had rendered valuable service in the Air. This award could also be worn on military uniform, usually after the medal ribbons. The Award was discontinued in 1993. SAP: 200
