A Rare Kontroll Befal Officer’s Badge GTRexclude the exterior bearing a machine-embroideredConstructed of gilded and patinated brass, the obverse consisting of a central raised and red painted disc, overlaid by a raised and gilded Nasjonal Samling Arbeidstjeneste (Labour Service) insignia, flanked by wheat stalks and circumscribed by an inscription of KONTROLL BEFAL (COMMAND CONTROL), the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 45 mm in diameter, demonstrating possible repair to the
