It states that the High Seas Fleet Badge has been awarded to Matrosenobergefreiter (Senior Lance Corporal in the Kriegsmarine) Gerald Hiemer for participation in the war missions of auxiliary cruiser Orion. The document is dated to May 5, 1945 and signed in black ink by a Vice Admiral and Commander in chief of the Training Association of
