Constructed of nickel plated magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of MEINE EHRE HEIT TREUE (MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M4 3 for Kallenbach, Meyer & Franke, Luckenwalde, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with some loss of finish
