Turkey, Ottoman Empire. An Order Of Osmanieh, I Class Grand Cross Badge, C.1910 Archive which left him permanently scarred(Osmanl Devlet Nian). Instituted in January 1862 by Sultan Abdlaziz. Type II. A large silver gilt sash badge consisting of a seven armed star with green enamels and ball finials, with clusters of three hand carved silver rays in each quadrant, obverse centre in red enamels featuring the Motto of the Order "Relying on the Assistance of Almighty God, Abdulaziz Khan, Sovereign of the Ottoman Empire", with an upward facing crescent moon in silver gilt,
