Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS Service Uniform Fez United Republic of 29240 " (Gesetzlich Geschützt) and(Waffen SS Fes). An extremely well preserved Waffen SS service uniform fez, constructed of field grey rabbit fur felt. The crown is topped by a felt stem accommodating a black rayon tassel which descends over the side of the fez. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a black rayon backer bearing a machine embroidered SS style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 65 mm (w) x 30 mm (h).
