A wartime postcard of Fighter Ace Leutnant Kurt Wintgens, depicted in uniform and with the Pour le Mrite clearly visible, the lower half of the image overlaid by Wintgens facsimile signature in black ink, the reverse used, the obverse bearing a partially legible studio mark of W. SANKE, BERLIN, measuring 87 mm (w) x 137 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
