Romania, Kingdom. An Order Of The Star Of Romania, Military Division Knight’s Cross, Ii Type Auction Archive surrounded by Latin inscription AXIIInstituted 10 May 1877. (1932 1947 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Romanian Cross with blue enameled arms, the quadrants joined by finely detailed gilt eagles, the obverse with a central red enameled medallion bearing a gilt monogram of Carol I, surrounded by a ring of blue enamel with a gilt inscription of IN FIDE SALUS (IN FAITH IS THE SALVATION), in turn within a gilt ring bearing green enameled oak
