They were part of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal which successfully re energized attention on their style of music. In 1985, the band went on a 10th anniversary tour. By that point, they had released seven full length albums and done a tour a year. Motrhead continued on for 30 more years until Lemmy's tragic death in 2015. This
