Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42. 98 mm (w) x 54. 15 mm (h), weighing 31. 0 grams, in extremely fine condition.
