A First War Royal Flying Corps (Rfc) Side Cap Newly Listed November 1943Fabricated from an olive green khaki wool with fold down flaps on either side, the flaps held up with silvered metal hooks fed through brown finished eyelets, with two rising peaks forming a valley between the two panels, the front with two 12. 5 mm wide buttons, the uppers of which are in dark brown bronze, without maker marks, each of the buttons illustrating the Royal coat of arms, the top button holding the two ends of the flaps together, the
