A Royal Air Force (Raf) Rifle Association Award Medal 1934 With Case Auction he was discharged from HastingsBronze, engraved "YOUNG AIRMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP. 2nd 1934." and "564353 A. C. I. GASKELL. G." on the edge, the latter inscription inverted, obverse inscribed "THE ROYAL AIR FORCE RIFLE ASSOCIATION" in the centre, with the Royal Air Force eagle above, crossed rifles below, framed by branches of thistles, roses and shamrocks forming a wreath, reverse with an open ended wreath of laurel leaves, 38. 7 mm, better than extremely fine.
