Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse depicting an an observation balloon bearing a Balkan Cross, inside an oval oak leaf wreath, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 41. 74 mm (w) x 52. 60 mm (h), weighing 35. 6 grams, in near mint condition.
