An early badge and typical quality for the period, in silver, consisting of a Latin Cross with red and white enameled arms, the obverse with 14 glass jewels, the reverse with a central monogram of Frederick V topped by a royal crown, on loop with suspension ring, unmarked however exhibiting the manufacturing characteristics of the Danish royal goldsmith Poul (Paul) Kurtz, measuring 45. 32
