Vintage 19th Century French Copper Preserve Pan Size:14.25" dual purpose plate with handThis nineteenth century French preserve pan, made in the 1880s, was designed with a broad mouth and gentle taper to draw off excess liquid and heighten the flavor of ripened fruit. Heavy gauge copper with riveted brass handles marks it as a serious kitchen tool, one that once simmered orchard harvests into fragrant marmalades and jewel toned jams.
