Germany, Wehrmacht. A Combat Knife Auction Archive 3rd East Anglian Regiment (16th/44th(Wehrmacht Kampfmesser). A well preserved Wehrmacht combat knife, measuring 27 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 15 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains period original sharpening to both the tip and lower edge. Unmarked, the blade emanates from a guard and tang, the latter featuring a two piece wooden handle grip fixed in place with three rivets. Accompanying the knife is its original scabbard,
