Lots of charred timber guaiacol like aromas; Palate is likewise oaky tannic and grippy, with a firmness that begs for more time. Deepset blackberry also. Long finish. Tannic and over extracted, but not as bad as some others in the same tasting lot. Some bitterness. Certainly has concentration, but difficult to drink it. Needs several years
