Naming is officially impressed, a faint "1" widowed above the "2" in "24761", the "T" impressed over a second "P" in "PTE", a widowed apostrophe above the "R" in "SAGGERS". Replacement ribbon, green oxidation evident on the obverse, very fine. Footnote: Charles Saggers was born on October 9, 1889 in Stanstead Abbots, Hertfordshire, England. He had served for two years as a Private (913) with the 5th Regiment,
