Constructed of black ribbon, bearing a yellow machine embroidered inscription of PANZERSCHIFF DEUTSCHLAND in Gothic script, unmarked, measuring 3. 25 cm (w) x 146 cm (l), in near very fine condition. Footnote: The Deutschland was the first ship of the new type known as Panzerschiff (armoured ship), referred to by the British as Pocket Battleships.
