In bronze gilt with blue and white enamels, portrait of San Marino surrounded by the Italian inscription "SAN MARINO PROTETTORE" (San Marino Protector) on the obverse, San Marino coat of arms surrounded by the Italian inscription "MERITO CIVILE E MILITARE" (Civil and Military Merit) on the reverse, measuring 59. 5 mm (w) x 89 mm (h) inclusive of its crown and laterally pierced
