Constructed of silvered bronze with a dark patina, the obverse bearing a depiction of a monoplane constructed by Ernst Heinkel in mid flight, circumscribed by an inscription of JUBILUMS STERNFLUG ZUM CANNSTATTER WASEN 1911 1936 (ANNIVERSARY FLIGHT TO THE CANNSTATTER WASEN 1911 1936), the reverse bearing a raised inscription of DER OBERBRGERMEISTER DER STADT STUTTGART ORTSGRUPPE STUTTGART DES DLV (THE LORD MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
