Constructed of blackened bronze, with integral loop and period original ribbon, the obverse with double Sig runes of the SS inside of an oak leaf wreath, the reverse with a number 4 overlaid by an inscription of Fr treue Dienste in der SS (For Faithful Service in the SS), unmarked, measuring 37. 98 mm in diameter, weighing 23. 9 grams, missing its suspension loop, otherwise in better than very fine condition.
