White, 2nd Foot) edge bruise, otherwise very fine. Samuel White was born at Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, and originally enlisted into the Royal Marines on 4 June 1796. He transferred to the 2nd Foot on 15 December 1797, and to the Grenadier Company of the 2nd Garrison Battalion on 2 May 1815.
