Manufactured as a museum specimen, a chain meant to accompany the Order of Merit of the Bavarian Crown constructed of gilded silver, alternating links consisting of the initials of the founder (M J), the Bavarian crown, and green laurel wreaths containing the capital letters of the motto Virtus et Honos in light blue on a white background.
