Founded in 1874 in Bardstown, Kentucky, The Barton 1792 Distillery has been around for a while and its changed many a hand and many a name. Right from the start, Tom Moore was an employee there and he eventually bought the distillery and named it Morton Spring Distillery. Then, he sold it to a group of outside investors.
