Tunisia, French Protectorate. An Order Of Glory, I Class Grand Cross, C.1890 Archive 1 October 1896(Nishan al Iftikhar). Model III, Type III with Cypher of Ali Ill ibn al Husayn (1882 1902). Instituted in 1835. Likely of French manufacture, in silver, green enamelled centrepiece, the star points in red and green enamels, with three faceted rays between each star point, maker marked with the Orfevre Christofle, Paris insignia on the ring, measuring 50 mm (w) x 72 mm (h) inclusive of its bow and laterally pierced ball suspension, chipping evident in
