The animals are as they were seen by the camera but the backgrounds are altered by montage which is made my layers of multiple images of light plus scans of fabric and paper

Laminated to a fused glass panel in aqua tint tone with an MDF backing ready to hang with a key hole

resulting in 3D structures

Nesting Dispute Size:Medium The enamel is tab setTwo striking pink Roseate Spoonbills were starting a nest when a Great White Egret tried to interfere. Both birds have huge wing spans of about 50 inches, so it was a wonderful drama to witness. Luckily the spoonbills won the dispute and settled down to start a family. Moore used an old fashioned technique of ''burning'' to darken the background which heightens the drama of the white feathers. Companion piece titled The Bride goes nicely as a set.
