Lined in a metallic brown, Japanese kaki persimmon glaze, this ceramic box is handmade with a porcelain stoneware clay mix and reduction soda fired; only a small amount of soda ash is added for a satin finish and to keep the process more eco friendly. Surface cracks are created by using a special drying technique during the wet stage of making. Signed on the bottom, it's one of a kind.
