Indonesian Hand-Dyed Silk Scarf in Muted Coral batting using basic and intermediate stitchesHand dyed by artisans in Indonesia, this muted coral silk scarf is approximately 12 in. wide by 46 in. long. The multiple colors are made through a resist dying technique called "Jumputan." Jumputan combines tie dye and a technique called 'tritik' which are made by stitching and gathering the textile before dyeing, similar to shibori. Makes a great one of a kind gift!
