Fira bunting flags Intermediate (Shown in colour Sign ofFira means celebrate in Swedish. A nice project for some scrap yarns. Each flag is worked bottom up in garter stitch, with smooth I cord edges. Knit the I cord sts on the RS and slip them with yarn in front on the WS. The flags are then joined together using a crochet hook. SIZE: Finished measurements of each flag: width 10 cm, height 12. 5 cm. GAUGE: 24 stitches & 24 ridges (48 rows) = 10 cm in garter stitch. The gauge is not crucial in this project.
