Woodfired Dog with Flowers A51790 100% leather exteriorThis ceramic sculpture is modeled after Cathy Broski's own beloved dog Porter, who was rescued by Broski's husband on Valentine's Day. It started as a series of hand built clay cones and cylinders; the pose emerged as it was assembled, after which the surfaceinspired by weathered objects and the erosion of the earthwas smoothed then textured. Its glaze is a result of its atmospheric kiln firing over multiple days, and the accompanying flowers were
