Torque Oberpfalz, Hallstatttijd, brons Middeleeuwse broches Some people preferred an axeThis torque, a status symbol within Celtic culture, is based on a find from Sondersfeld Kittenhausen in the Upper Palatinate, dating from the Hallstatt period. Torques were worn as an open neck ring by both men and women, and were a sign of prestige or power. Performed in bronze, with a length of approx. 44 cm.
