Chrysanthemum Paper Flowers Zine Jean The bookmarks are available asArtist Sophia Callahan first encountered paper chrysanthemums in her grandparents wedding photos, taken at Poston Internment Camp in Arizona during WWII. With fresh flowers unavailable, those incarcerated crafted paper bouquets for ceremonies and celebrations, weaving resilience and care into fragile petals. How to Make Chrysanthemum Paper Flowers zine was developed during Sophias residency at 2727 California in 2019. Reprinted in 2025.
