Rainbowl Contemporary P08413-P04047 and firingRainbowls are handblown from the furnace using cane techniques inspired by venetian glassmakers. Each line is a transparent color over a white core. Canes are laid on a cane marver, heated, and rolled onto a bubble. The wig wag patterning is borrowed from flameworking and is achieved in the very same way only larger scale.
