Has half zip back and a slit up the back middle seam to make walking a breeze. The photo of the full back of the dress shows the slit wide open because of the way the mannequin is sitting on the stool but it will lay flat don't worry. Material is a soft flow polyester (maybe rayon?) blend. A fun 90s piece to add to your wardrobe! NOTED FLAWS: May have very minor wear due to age
