Field Patterns Product:Field Patterns flattening the glassThis is an oil painting on cold wax on Ampersand clay coated masonite. The effect of this composition shows a clean picked bean field where the foreground is lit by sun and the background is in shadow. The contrast is compounded by the directions of the bean rows. Application of the paint was intentionally quick with full brush strokes. The painting is presented in a clear maple frame with a linen liner.
